If you can't sign in
Email support@porchcourt.com from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you signed up with. We may ask you to confirm you control that address or number. We complete deletion requests within 30 days and reply when it's done.
What is deleted
- Your phone number, email address, password and name
- Your notification push token
- Your remaining credit balance, which is forfeited (credits have no cash value)
- Every evidence photo you uploaded, with its caption
- Any invitee name or number you entered
- The text of your statements and rebuttals
- Your app usage analytics record in PostHog, with its events
What happens to disputes
- Disputes still in progress are cancelled, and any stakes are returned.
- A pending appeal is closed, and the earlier verdict stands. If the other party paid for the appeal, their fee is refunded.
- The other party keeps their own record of past disputes, including the title, their own statements and photos, and the verdict, with your name removed.
- Records of credit movements are kept, detached from your name, phone number and email, so that everyone else's balances still add up.
- Reports you filed about verdicts are kept so we can act on them.
How long anything remains
Deletion from our live systems is immediate. Copies may remain in our providers' encrypted backups for a limited period, typically no more than 30 days, before they are overwritten.
